Edgerrin James (born August 1, 1978 in Immokalee, Florida) is a running back and an essential part of the Indianapolis Colts of high powered well balanced offense.

Edgerrin James was drafted by the Colts out of the University of Miami with the fourth pick in the first round of the 1999 NFL Draft. He signed a 7 year, $49 million contract. His authentic jersey is one of the most popular among urban youths. In Indianapolis and Miami men and women alike adore this hip hop persona and wears his #32 Colts jersey. After his first season in the NFL, James was named The NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year by the Associated Press. He led the league in rushing his rookie season and his sophomore season. He currently is the record holder for most total yards of scrimmage per game in a regular season career.
